Credit Analyst
This is a newly created position within a highly regarded credit research team and the successful candidate will work directly alongside a team of portfolio managers. The portfolio covers Industrial and Utility names in the credit space, with a focus on high yield credits.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Providing research ideas to portfolio managers for inclusion in relevant portfolios
- Creating financial models to generate investment opportunities and company analysis
- Acting as an assistant Portfolio Manager; attending investment meetings contributing to investment strategy and portfolio construction decisions
- Analyse sector/industry trends and present this analysis to portfolio manager
- Contributing to process and idea generation
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven background within credit research, ideally covering some high yield names
- Working towards the CFA qualification
- Strong academic background, with a mathematical/financial degree from a top tier university
- Confident, communicative individual capable of presenting to senior management
