Credit Analyst (ABS) recruitment

As a Credit Analyst (ABS) your major accountabilities will include:

• To develop robust working relationships with Treasury Liability Driven Fixed Income and Credit Fund Managers and other members of the wider London Investment teams and Credit Analysts in overseas offices in order to maximise the effectiveness of investment research.

• As an integral member of the team, participate in the development of value adding research and analysis.

• To establish personal credibility with the Aviva Investors investment team, success will be reflected in team and fund performance and personal contribution. 

• To show flexibility in approach to research, and ability to adapt research to changes in market conditions / outlook.

• To avoid exposing the company or clients to inappropriate levels of risk (within agreed targets).

• Full compliance with agreed processes for systematic credit analysis. 

• To maintain open channels of communication and information flows across all research functions.

As a Credit Analyst (ABS) your skills, experience and qualifications will ideally include:

• Relevant degree or equivalent

•  Likely to hold CFA or significant progress towards gaining this

• Likely to have IMC 

• Knowledge of credit markets, credit risk and the investment process.

• In depth experience of research and/or analysis in a range of ABS, securitized and secured debt and ABCP.

• Experience in loan and/or bond documentation essential.

• Proven analytical experience.

• Up to date knowledge of relevant market practices and a keen interest in new developments.

• Knowledge of compliance / regulatory best practice.

• Proven ability to combine initiative and creativity with team working.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
