Credit Analyst, Alternative Funds recruitment
As part of the bank’s strategy to expand their FI and Funds business, my client is looking for a credit officer to work closely with the business, with a particular focus on alternative funds (private equity, mezzanine, leveraged funds, real estate, sovereign wealth etc)
The Role: As part of a small team and as a credit officer you will be responsible for analysing, assessing and approving (within your own discretionary authority) trades, and conducting regular due diligence visits on new and existing clients. You will join the team at an exciting time when new products are being developed and systems and processes upgraded to support the growth of the funds platform.
The Candidate: Ideally you will have relevant experience analysing funds with strong product knowledge. An understanding of the alternatives (PE Funds, leveraged funds etc) market would be beneficial. Candidates with experience in c/party credit looking at NBFI or FI c/parties or with a product focus (equity/credit etc.) will be considered. If you have buy-side (CLO/Leverage Funds, PE funds etc.) experience and are open to moving into a credit risk role, you are encouraged to apply.
