Credit Analyst – Role Description:
We are seeking candidates with at least two – three years work relevant work experience. Candidates must be credit-trained, comfortable with credit analysis and in particular preparing and updating financial models. Specific duties will include:
- Conducts financial analysis, creates and updates financial models for current and potential customers.
- Credit analysis, assists in preparation of credit memos plus internal risk adjusted return on risk adjusted capital model.
- Assist in preparation of marketing efforts towards existing and potential customers.
- Assist in the preparation of various industry reports analyzing various market segments' historical development, status quo, and future prospects.
- Assist in internal reporting and compliance and ensuring financial information for customers.
- Keeping up-to-date with bank's strategy / products / credit risk / portfolio guidelines.
- Comply with office procedures and the Bank's overall guidelines and code of conduct.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Two – Three years experience with a U.S. money-center bank and/or large international financial services institution.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge: Beginner to Intermediate understanding of Accounting and Finance.
- Personal qualifications: The ideal candidate will be team and relationship oriented with excellent verbal written communication skills. Someone who takes initiative with a practical mindset is also important as is the ability to multi-task and have a good sense of humor.
