Credit Analyst (Corporate Banking) recruitment

Responsibilities:

Customer:

- Manage on day-to-day basis own portfolio of existing and potential clients to help meet the branch financial targets.

- Calls on clients along with RM's to assist them in marketing corporate banking products and cash deposits, and to follow-up and capture business opportunities.

- Prepare call reports detailing findings, outcome and follow-up actions of the call.

- Prepare transaction summary for management's consideration of potential deals.

- To coordinate with operation periodically and send updated deposit rates offered by the bank to target corporate and HNW clients.

Internal:

- Prepare comprehensive credit proposals for new clients that adequately address all relevant risk factors and in compliance with established credit policies, procedures and standards.

- Monitor and check credit committee minutes to ensure proper approval is obtained.

- At least one month before expiry, prepare comprehensive credit review for existing portfolio that adequately address all relevant and current risk factors and the latest developments in the industry, market and business.

- Regular monitoring and calls on existing clients to identify opportunities, resolves problems and capture any on-going business, working jointly with any concerned departments when required.

- Obtain all requisite facility and account documentation to ensure that each clients file is current and valid legal documentation to secure/protect the banks interests.

- Identify and timely report on all negative events and early signals on potentia problematic accounts through regular monitoring of covenants, utilization limits and market information.

- Make recommendations on credit proposals to ensure they are within Credit Policy Manual defined risk parameters, policies and procedures.

- Liaise with other banking divisions such as Credit, Treasury, Corporate Banking and Syndication on customer services and other support issues.

Knowledge:

- Possess a prominent knowledge of the corporate banking business, its products and related risks together with a good knowledge of operations and control.

- Good knowledge of the banking and commercial environment of the country.

- Understanding of the relevant laws, regulations and best practices pertaining to Corporate Banking relationships.

Other:

- Degree in finance related discipline.

- 5+ years sound credit experience in Corporate Banking environment.

- Exposure to Oil Gas industry will be advantageous.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local language.
