Credit Analyst, Istanbul recruitment

Main responsibilities will include:
The Credit Associate will provide timely credit analysis on a portfolio of mainly corporate clients in the continental European and Emerging Markets. 
Structuring, negotiating and documenting new transactions including syndicated loans, bilateral loans, trade finance and trading lines (FX, interest rate and  commodity derivatives).
Responsible for taking approvals to the credit executive, including new transactions, deal amendments and ongoing portfolio management
Client base will be mainly corporates, but may include some financial institutions
Working alongside senior bankers on more complex transactions
Working with IB coverage officers, Corporate Bankers and product groups (FX, Derivatives, potentially Debt Capital Markets and Commodities) in conjunction with live transactions
Performing due diligence for Turkish subsidiaries of MNCs for establishment of credit facilities based on MNC parent support
Documenting new transactions and amendments to existing transactions in conjunction with legal counsel.
Maintaining connectivity with London-based Credit colleagues to stay aware of overall market developments, best practices as well as training and development.

Key skills and experience required
Degree qualified.
Fluency in both Turkish and English is essential.
Relevant and recent credit training and experience from a recognised financial institution.
A demonstrable intensive 'hands on' approach to analysing the details of credit and structure
A good knowledge of transaction structures, documentation and banking products sufficient to assist with the execution of new deals and amendments.
Strong interpersonal, analytical and numerical skills
Ability to think laterally around risk, particularly outside of credit risk
