SUMMARY
Analyze financial condition of customers to determine ability to repay loans, including cash flow analysis, financial stability, previous credit history, and collateral values. Ensure loan Documentation on loans analyzed is complete and accurate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Analyze loan data on new, renewal, and existing loans, including data provided by applicants, credit bureaus, other financial institutions, and Bank files. Draw conclusions of credit worthiness based upon information reviewed.
- Provide technical assistance to loan officers as needed.
- Gather and organize loan information.
- Write loan memos and/or discuss problems with loan officer and/or make recommendations or alternative solutions.
- Compose annual reviews for borrowers.
- Check for lending compliance when reviewing or analyzing lending files including ensuring complete and accurate loan documentation.
- Establish and maintain files containing financial data.
- Call or visit borrowers at the direction of account officer as necessary to gather information.
- Offer recommendations for policy and procedure improvement.

- College degree in Accounting or Finance or 5 years relevant experience.
- Effective computer skills to include strong knowledge of Excel, WORD, and Outlook.
- Good math skills with ability to calculate amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, etc. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, government regulations, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to and answer questions from groups of managers, Board of Directors, and associates.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
