Koch Fertilizer, LLC is currently seeking a Credit Analyst to join our credit team in Wichita, KS. The successful candidate will responsible for:
- Review of potential counterparty information including financial statements to determine credit worthiness and establish credit limits
- Assist in negotiating security agreements, guaranties and other forms of mitigation
- Monitor outstanding balances relative to credit lines
- Meet with selected counterparties periodically to review financial information and help ensure recoverability of outstanding receivables
- Develop an understanding of country and industry risk
- Work closely with Accounting, Legal, and Marketing team to develop policies and procedures, review contract language, and workout credit related issues
Required:
- Strong financial analysis research skills
- Good communication skills (verbal written)
- Entrepreneurial attitude
- Strong computer skills (Excel Word)
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field from an accredited institution
Preferred:
- 5+ years of trade credit experience
- Financial experience
- Oracle experience
- Knowledge of agriculture/fertilizer industry and/or natural gas industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics from an accredited institution
