Prinicipal Accountabilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Credit reviews of new and existing counterparties/clients/securities issuers, preparing credit risk limit applications;
- Analysis of credit exposures arising in the course of VTB Capital daily activities such as derivatives trading across FX, fixed income, equities and commodities, as well as through the traditional banking activities such as debt origination;
- Extensive interaction with all support functions of the bank including Operations, Legal, Compliance and Loan Portfolio Management;
- Monitoring of limit excesses and with exposure concentrations;
- Close monitoring of the early warning signs in the relevant financial markets;
- Identifying and implementing general process improvements to streamline our credit risk management practices
 

Key Competencies and Qualifications:

- The incumbent will be a credit analyst with 3+ years experience of financial institutions analysis, able to quickly assess and to communicate credit risks logically and succinctly;
- Broad knowledge base of investment banking products, across multiple markets and asset classes but specifically OTC and Exchange Traded derivatives is a pre-requisite;
- Solid understanding of credit concepts embedded in ISDA / CSA is a must;
- The role assumes understanding of trends evident in the developed financial markets, including good grasp of Basel II;
- The candidate will demonstrate ability to operate in a fast moving dynamic organization, whilst maintaining balance between the business expansion requirements and prudent risk management;
- CFA would be advantageous, but is not a pre-requisite
