My Client has a specific short term requirement to collect historical loss data for the NBFI (Insurance, Funds, Broker Dealers), Global Small/Medium Enterprises (GSME) and Large Corporate models.
Reporting directly to the Workstream Lead within the CPA Models Management Control team, the Business Analyst is responsible for assisting with the loss data remediation exercise and validation of the data on receipt from the respective Credit team.
Activities and Deliverables:
Management of case list excel tracker.
Distribution to Business Units pre populated templates based on agreed case lists.
Provide guidance to Credit managers to assist with the completion of the template.
Validation of the completed template against system data, electronic or paper files, co-ordinating any further remediation activity.
Following validation, process the templates via an aggregation tool and then complete data quality checks.
End to end management of a portfolio of default cases for the loss data collection process.
Attention to detail and early escalation of issues.
• Maintain an a ctive relationship with external and internal stakeholders.
• Completed 'fit for purpose' data sets.

Essential Skills Required:
Credit risk background.
Good working knowledge and understanding of credit risk systems and processes.
Ability to demonstrate strong background knowledge of banking book products
Proven track record of planning and delivery.
Ability to take ownership of and complete tasks to strict deadlines.
Excellent writing and Excel skills
Strong verbal and inter-personal skills, with the ability to deal with reluctant RM's and Credit officers
Team Player.
Strong understanding of project management principles and the project lifecycle.
Good working knowledge of MS office applications.
