Macquarie's Australian Mortgage business has a 20 year proven track record in originating and servicing home loans. Leveraging off our award winning product range, the business has an aggressive growth strategy over 2013 which has created the opportunity to rapidly grow our lending team with up to 3 current opportunities for experienced credit analysts available.
Role Overview
- Working as part of a supportive, high performing team you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and assessing credit applications and approving/recommending loans in accordance with established parameters;
- Liaising with mortgage insurers, valuers and solicitors on individual loan applications;
- Resolving client telephone queries on new loan proposals;
- Exceeding our service quality standards as well supporting the local sales team through providing ongoing credit training and site visits for key clients.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate experience and knowledge of credit assessment and decisioning within a residential lending environment, or a similar capacity within a bank lending organisation
- Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- Be comfortable and flexible working in a changing environment
- Possess strong attention to detail and task completion;
- Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
- Possess the ability to easily build relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Be an effective time manager and be able to prioritise and manage your workload;
- Ideally hold or have recently held an approval delegation
