Credit Analyst, NBFIs

This role would suit a candidate with 2-4 years relevant banks and non-banking financial institutions s credit analysis experience, ideally Funds and Fund Managers. This is a trading floor based credit role with the core objective of mitigating credit risks inherent in derivatives and other trading floor business products. The Analyst will be part of the non-bank financial institutions section, largely focusing on funds and fund managers.

Main responsibilities will include:

Provides a broad range of analytical and research support. Completes specific tasks including financial statement and data analysis, financial modelling and industry research. Build and maintain internal relationships with marketers and traders, and responds quickly to requests for credit facilities from the trading floor. Assist in the on-going monitoring of credit quality and global credit exposure of the portfolio by remaining current with counterparty's financial condition, industry and economic trends. Identify any relevant changes in the financial condition/business of a client.

Experience and qualifications required:

Graduate in a relevant numerate degree. Recent and relevant credit analysis experience at a recognised corporate/wholesale bank. Experience of analysing non-bank financial institutions, especially fund and fund managers. Broad working knowledge of derivatives and other trading floor products preferred. Understanding of the credit risks associated with trading floor business products preferred. Solid understanding of specific industry, including fundamental market factors and capital markets activity.
