Credit Analyst recruitment
The Credit Analyst is responsible for fundamental credit research of investment and sub-investment grade corporate issuers in the Australia-Pacific region. The research activities form the basis for recommendations to the portfolio managers of the Asia-Pacific fixed income portfolios and where required, global portfolios.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/knowledge:
- 2-5 years' experience in Banking (corporate finance, equities research or credit research), Accounting, Rating Agency, or Funds Management
- Understanding of balance sheets and accounting methods
- Previous financial modelling and credit analysis experience of banks and insurers would also be advantageous
- Detailed knowledge of core products (Bonds, CDS) is an advantage, but not essential
- University Degree essential, Post graduate (Honours/ Masters) desirable
- Professional Qualifications: CA/ CPA/ CFA/ SIA preferred
