A large international financial services organistation are currently expanding their operations in Dublin and are now seeking to hire a Credit Analyst. This role is a permanent opportunity and will report directly into the Head of Credit Financial Products here in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing detailed reviews of CFP’s major corporate exposures and clients on a timely basis
- Assist in the review of client transactions and determining recommendations to senior management and Group Risk Management
- For CFP’s smaller exposures, responsible for maintaining and enhancing a high level statistical framework based on summary financial information
- Expected to develop and enhance procedures for monitoring and tracking deteriorating credits in the portfolio and maintenance of the CFP watch list
- Deal directly with clients’ underwriting analysts
- Work closely with Group Risk Management in their review and approval of CFP’s exposures
- Coordinate with GRM to garner relevant credit information for CFP exposures available within the Group
- Provide group with updated reports on credit developments and evaluations
- Participate on group projects to develop new portfolio and corporate credit stress methodologies
Candidate Requirements
- 3 – 5 years experience working in corporate credit in the financial services industry
- Experience with preparing detailed credit reports and making presentations in committee setting
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Degree in finance or accounting
- Advanced degree or professional qualification such as CA, CFA or FRM would be desirable
Package
- Basic salary of €50,000 - €60,000 depending on exp
- Annual Bonus of 15%
