Credit Analyst – Sovereign & International Public Finance recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of government ratings across the Sovereign IPF sector
- Meet with senior government executives in order to understand the entity and collect and analyse the information and data necessary for rating determination
- Synthesis findings into a report and present findings to the rating committee
- Prepare materials for ratings publications and credit reports
- Assist in undertaking sector analysis and commentaries
- Familiarisation with rating criteria, including relevant training as required
Required:
- Degree qualified in commerce, finance, or economics
- Around three to five years experience in analysis or research
- Proven analytical skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Self-driven, energetic and proactive
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, global, multi-cultural environment
- Willingness to travel
Preferred:
- Previous experience in credit analysis or research
- Experience or knowledge of state and local governments
