Credit Analyst / Underwriter recruitment

 A key and high profile position, the successful candidate will partner with senior stakeholders, challenging the validity and all associated risk of the projects. As the Credit Analyst/Underwriter, you will take ownership for large project financing across Europe, Africa, Middle East and CIS for the Cat Power Finance division.

Key responsibilities will be:

     Identifying and analysing all transactional risks including, financial, commercial, economical, political, regulatory and environmental,

     Advising on structuring of asset and project finance transactions,

     Developing advanced financial models whilst understanding the key concepts related to loans,

     Preparing credit proposals for international/complex deals through project finance, syndications and foreign currencies.

With the same exposure to 'big ticket' financial deals and many large international banks, this role offers a genuinely refreshing approach to financing and flexibility away from the banking culture. This position is based on the outskirts of Solihull - West Midlands but will require travel throughout the UK and the world.

As such the company is looking for a motivated individual with the desire and initiative to understand, and analyse all project detail in order to produce a clear concise underwriting proposal for review and approval by the Credit Committee. The successful Credit Analyst/Underwriter will also:

     Need to be an analytical individual with a flair for detailed business modelling, risk analysis and credit/funding

     Be from a relevant 'big-ticket' industry background including: financial services, banking and investment firms ideally with energy or power exposure

     Have prepared underwriting proposals for international/complex deals through project finance, syndications and foreign currencies

     Willing to travel internationally as necessary to meet with any and all parties involved in the project.
