Credit Analyst/Manager required recruitment
Our client is a well established co. It is now looking to hire a hands-on credit analyst/mgr to join its team. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), you will be an integral part of the risk management team. Key functions:
Risk Assessment
- Able to independently undertake credit risk analysis, including but not limited to financial statement analysis, cashflow projections / sensitivity analysis, SWOT analysis and peer comparison.
- Evaluate asset risk, including price, quality and fungibility, to determine asset residual values.
- Support the CRO in the preparation of Board submissions.
Risk Monitoring
- Conduct regular and timely credit reviews on each Lessee.
- Track insurance policies to ensure timely renewals as well as ascertain Lessee’s compliance of insurance requirements.
- Initiate / track annual vessel inspections and provide necessary liaison between Lessees and appointed ship management companies.
Legal Documentation
- Able to review lease / lending documents and engage in 1st level negotiations.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years or more hands-on experience in credit risk analysis
- Experience in a credit role with banking or Commercial Finance Company is beneficial. But good credit professionals from commercial MNCs will be considered.
- Experience in Ship/ Asset Finance desirable (but not a must)
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Flair for numbers and detailed-oriented
- Hands-on
- Thrive well in a lean and dynamic environment
- Stable career history
