Portfolio Analyst

Our Credit Analytics team is looking for a Portfolio Analyst in London. The successful candidate will join the Portfolio Analysis and Control team which focus on measurement of Counterparty Credit Risk across OTC derivatives and Securities Financing Transactions global portfolios. This role encompasses ad hoc analysis, management and interpretation of risk measure under Basel 2/3 regime and continuous improvement of counterparty credit risk calculators.

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Your main responsibilities will involve:

• Validation of Basel 3 risk measures

• Clear communication with Risk IT in a One Team fashion

• Production of well documented analysis

• Being a point of reference for Counterparty Credit Risk queries

• Support of stress testing initiative

• High level knowledge of Financial Accounting rules to compute RWA

• Improvement of tactical processes

• Documentation of system processes and calculations

• Being part of a team responsible for production of exposure measures which play a fundamental role in risk and capital management.

• Becoming a strong Subject Matter Expert on Counterparty Credit Risk under Basel 3 framework.
