Credit Approver, Small Business recruitment
Our client, a large international bank is looking for a Credit Approval Manager, Small Business to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for those with strong credit analysis experience in small business and trade finance to into a Credit Approver position.
Job Description
- Ensure that prudent credit is granted to all loan applications with approval within the accepted policy and guidelines.
- Learn and understand thoroughly all internal and external relevant regulations as well as internal Risk Compliance policies and procedures.
- Adhere strictly to delegated authority or else escalate timely in due course.
- Support good asset growth initiatives within the firms strategy risk appetite.
- Ability / experienced in preparing Credit MIS, credit scorecard and possess scripting language skill is a plus.
- Familiarity with guarantee scheme is advantageous
- Be able to maintain good interpersonal skill and timely communications with all stakeholders, especially the Relationship Managers
- Improve approval turn around time and minimize error
Qualifications Skills
- Degree level
- 4 years relevant credit approval/credit analysis experience with solid trade finance exposure
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Able to work under pressure and tight timeline
