Credit Controller Job in Barry, Wales Uk

My client, a successful and growing Contract Interiors company are looking for an experience and confident individual to join their busy team. You will be raising application's processing sales invoices, preparing statements of account, chasing overdue debt, working with account managers to resolve customer queries, preparing weekly credit control reports and preparing court papers. The business has around 30-40 active customer accounts at any one time. You will be responsible for assisting with purchase ledger payments and statement reconciliations, processing customer receipts, maintaining and posting cashbook transactions, preparing weekly wages and maintain CIS scheme and contractor payments.
This role is expected to grow as the company expands over the next few years and there will be an opportunity for the right candidate to be involved in more areas of the business. These will include Job Costing and report writing.

This role requires a confident and experience Credit Controller with presence and a determination to succeed. You will be extremely well organised and tenacious and will be a good communicator at all levels. Experience within the Construction industry would be a definite advantage but not essential and if you are working towards your AAT or have already completed that would also be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will be confident and experienced in using Microsoft Packages, particularly Excel and have experience of using various accounts packages.
