Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant

A great opportunity to join a well established Bath based company for 30 hours a week on a permanent basis as a Credit Control/Accounts Assistant.

On a day to day basis the role will consist of a mix of accounts and credit control and you will be required to deal with purchase ledger posting invoices, looking at the purchase ledger statement and receipts as well as the sales ledger including bank postings, sales ledger reconciliations and allocating receipts. The credit control aspect of the role will include working alongside the current credit controller to chase debts from customers when needed.

the successful candidate will be someone with a background in both credit control and accounts as there will be a considerable amount of credit control involved so a candidate who enjoys this aspect of role would be extremely suitable. You will ideally AAT qualified or alternatively be qualified by experience with a proven track record of providing first class accounts as well as an ability to do credit control. You will be hard working, loyal and have fantastic attention to detail and there is the opportunity to advance within the company should you wish to.
