This Managerial role will have end to end responsibility and management of the Commercial Banking credit risk management process and procedure, and ensure asset writing is within the set guidelines. The role focuses on ensuring the overall credit quality of portfolio remains within expected and consistent levels for loss and write offs. Key areas of work will include credit assessment, credit consultancy and credit support.
The candidate will support the Business to achieve target in terms of revenue and to manage credit loss/cost within acceptable and consistent levels. Active participation in regular and effective workshops with business will reflect good stakeholder engagement. You will also ensure credit risk process from end to end remains robust and effective to manage and achieve acceptable portfolio quality.
Qualifications:
An ideal incumbent will have around 10 to 15 years of experience in the Banking industry, of which 8 to 10 years in Credit Risk. The candidate should have interest in global, regional and country-specific economic events and integrate these with the credit risk issues. The ability to understand significant credit issues coupled with strong skills in analysis of financial statements and deal structuring will be vital. Good communication skills will be mandatory.
