Credit Documentation Manager recruitment

Major Responsibilities

•To promote the relationship between SME CRC and SME Banking as well as other team members within the department with a view to ensure smooth flow of the COE platform and meeting of the Service Level Agreement on Credit Documentation matters

•Support and participate in Group Credit Risk Control and SME Banking projects, deliverables and objectives.

•To improve productivity from time to time by reducing unit processing cost through effective management of resources and costs and exercise close budgetary control to ensure the department’s costs is within the budget.

•To undertake ad hoc duties and when delegated by Senior Manager SME CRC and Country Head Credit Risk Control

•To ensure all securing documentation is held in order; that conditions of approval are satisfied /or waiver(s) obtained prior to drawdown of facilities

•To ensure that instructions are given to SSC Chennai to record limits on Exposure in line with the approved Business Credit Application (BCA) and security documents held by CDT.

•To protect the Bank’s interest by ensuring that documentation is complete effective, whilst assisting the RMs in their efforts to maximise revenue.

•To comprehend and comply with Credit Policies, Internal and External Policies, Regulatory and Statutory requirements.

•To ensure high level of service satisfaction to the Business units.

•To draft facility letters for all customers in accordance with the terms of the approved BCA to review facility letters prepared by other team members in accordance with delegated transaction authority

•To prepare other securing documentation for customers using the Bank’s standard forms, as determined by the terms of approval Group Credit Policy.

•To liaise with RMs to discuss documentation requirements, proposed non-standard documentation etc.

•To follow up and resolve documentation issues with RMs customers in order to protect the bank’s position make facilities available as soon as possible.

•To co-approve or approve the issue of Security Compliance Certificates (SCC) once satisfied that all documentary requirements have been met.

•Follow up on new/renewal/topping up of insurances and security documents with expiry dates

•To review all existing documentation held, ensuring that it is complete and complies with the terms of the BCA and to co-approve the issuance of a LAC / SCC as a result.

Qualifications Skills

•Good working knowledge on bank's products/services and operations of other departments.

•Good working knowledge on local Companies Ordinance and legal requirements for perfection of security documentation.

•Sound knowledge of banking practices, relevant legislation and Statutory and Regulatory requirements.

•Preferably Tertiary Education or relevant professional qualification with minimum 2 years experience in corporate lending.
