Credit Manager – APAC Region recruitment
Our fast paced, rapidly growing client are looking for true credit experts to build a centre of excellence to support the credit support function in the regional offices based within the APAC region as well as support the corporate group headquarters during their substantial and continued future growth plans.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will take a hands on approach in investigating the current external relationships of the customer base, understanding the local custom before applying methods of improving the current AR function and current debt management system. After establishing, these methods you must influence the internal stakeholders within the regional offices to apply the methods to improve the function. This will be achieved by producing a series of internal reports, procedures and templates before embarking on an “upskilling” drive for the current AR employees based in the APAC region by providing a comprehensive training programme for the business to adopt.
There are a number of positions within the centre of excellence in KL, therefore if you have a particular core strength (Financial services, Commercial, Process, International law, Risk) the business will then engineer the set-up around the skill set of the true credit experts upon appointment. You will be expected to have managed a significant size teams in the past along with exposure to a regional role. You must have tangible experience in producing and implementing company credit management procedure and must be able to demonstrate quantifiable business successes. If you have links to the telecoms industry this will be a substantial advantage.
