Credit Manager
Job Description
This individual will be part of the Credit Administration reporting infrastructure on a team charged with ensuring proper administration and analyses of third party risk assessment tools as well as in-house applications. Assist the Director of Credit Administration in ensuring compliance with Vendor Management Policies and procedures. This individual will build processes and reports both standardized and ad hoc as required by the Director of Credit Administration.
- Interface with all CIT business units and various CIT Corporate Departments to include CIT’s Information Security Department, STS liaison, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Procurement, Corporate Services, etc.
- Ensure proper administration of processes and procedures for all Risk Assessment Tools.
- Define and document business, system and vendor processes and maintain updates as appropriate.
- Clearly define business requirements for application enhancements, updates, patches and/or system platform migrations for both third party vendor solutions and in-house applications.
- Articulate business requirements to various IT development groups, outside vendor support, CIT project managers.
- Coordinate and/or perform user testing and documentation to include creation of Test Scripts and functionality testing.
- Identify project and/or testing issues resolutions throughout projects.
- Responsible for creation of training decks and other presentations as required by the Director of Credit Administration. Responsible for maintaining CRM Website and team sites.
- Ensure compliance with all STS policies procedures to include CIT’s Access Control List Process (ACLC), ISD Change of Employment and Disaster Recovery processes.
- Work closely with CIT’s STS team and outside vendors where applicable to provide end-user support and issue resolution.
- Oversee third party billing process to include review and allocation of invoices and processing of check requests upon business unit Designate approval.
- Administer monthly utilization processes to include pulling and/or requesting third party usage reports, review and reconciliation of said reports, and obtain approvals from business unit Designates.
Minimum Required Skills and Experience:
- Advanced knowledge, experience and skill in the use of software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, Internet Explorer, Visio and ACCESS
- Knowledge of salesforce.com and Sharepoint
- Knowledge of Live Meeting or WebEx Tools
- Strong technical and analytical skills to support daily activities
- Ability to monitor and reconcile data
- Ability to demonstrate effective project management skills
- Detailed oriented with strong problem resolution skills
- Ability to work and effectively interact and contribute in a fast-paced environment
- Considered an out of the box thinker and displays a willingness to learn.
- Must possess above average organization and communication skills
- Ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under pressure
- Energetic, a strong work ethic, and is a team player with the ability to work well independently.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a financial institution
- College Degree is preferred
- Strong analytical/technical background
- Credit experience a plus
