An opportunity has arisen for a Credit Manager to join the private banking department in one of the largest retail and commercial banks in Asia. The department offers investment and wealth management services is to high-networth individuals.
With a minimum 5 years experience and a proven lending track record in the private banking sector, you will work with the business to maintain and develop a high quality lending portfolio while upholding a strong credit control culture. You will also be responsible for a portion of the credit administration including preparing credit documents after approval, co-ordinate with department for facilities set up and perform periodically review on facilities. Day to day monitoring of client position will be required.
With great interpersonal skills, you will put into a Credit Manager role and build sound working relationships with a small team of Private Bankers and be confident in reviewing documentation and carrying out ongoing negotiations and structuring directly with the responsible parties. Ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Knowledge of investment products and structures used by high net-worth clients from China preferred.
