Credit Officer – FI: Emerging Markets recruitment
The CRM in London is looking to hire into its FI team a junior credit officer at AVP level who would join the team responsible for EMG Sovereigns and Financial Institutions and be responsible for helping to manage the portfolio, reviewing credits with our Raleigh team, being the front line with the business, approving transactions, setting appropriate risk appetite and reviewing legal agreements

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
• Desirable - University Degree or equivalent.
• Desirable - CFA, ACA, ACCA.
• Previous relevant experience of credit analysis and/or market transactions approval
• Financial background, knowledge of derivatives products.
• An EMG market background.
• Required skills: team player, self-motivating, autonomous.
Your main responsibilities will involve:
• The credit officer will be responsible to help manage the EMG FI portfolio and support a Director.
• Frequent interaction with the front office.
• Approve transactions, set risk appetite and dynamically review the portfolio and ensure the rating is set at the right level in collaboration with our Raleigh team.
• Establish and review legal documentation terms for the funds.
• Ensure that he/she complies with CRM policies and procedures
• Keep abreast of market and regulatory developments.
• Develop and build strong inter-departmental relationships with Front Office, Legal and Compliance, Risk Management and Operations, particularly the Collateral management unit.
