Credit Portfolio Manager (IG)
You will be handling corporate credit for the entire Asset management division, in a role that reports directly to the Head of Fixed Income. You will be managing portfolio’s of Corporate bonds of Investment Grade across all sectors and regions in Asia (Ex Japan). They are open to considering candidates who do not have a trading track record such as professionals in a research or strategy position, however you will then be an Assistant Portfolio Manager for the first year then become a fully fledged Portfolio Manager.
Applicants must have experience:-
- Investing across Asian EM corporates, (IG) across all sectors and regions.
- Managing a long-only and long short fixed income portfolio invested mainly in Emerging Market corporates.
- Proprietary trading within global EM corporate credit.
- Analysing and recommending trades in HY corporate credit.
- At least 3 years experience in Asia Credit Markets
Responsibilities:-
- Manage (or Assist managing) Asian Credit Portfolios
- Conduct credit research
- Offer market strategy insight
- Prepare/Conduct marketing
- Assist in projects improving operational efficiency, work closely with operation staff, lead in ad-hoc projects regarding funds
Within this role you will become the lead portfolio manager on the corporate credit book for the Asian Fund and must have therefore worked in a similar position within Emerging Market corporate credit fund management or prop trading.
