Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst

Purpose of the role: 

This role sits within a newly formed Credit Portfolio Management team within the businesses supply and trading area and will help the business leadership better understand its current and forward-looking credit risk profile through analytics, modelling, reporting and data visualization – helping to inform tactical business opportunities as well as longer-term credit risk management strategies.

This position combines high-level reporting and analytics accountabilities with senior-level exposure across regions and business segments within the Group.

Key accountabilities:

Oversight and management of credit portfolio pricing systems Credit portfolio analytics, modeling and stress-testing. Maintenance of market-driven credit curves and transaction

pricing tools. Integration and reporting of credit exposures, including development of new data visualization tools as required effective partnership across multiple business segments and regions.

Job requirements:

Experience in developing advanced quantitative models and tools in support of complex portfolios and business needs. High degree of capability and comfort working with large volumes of data in Excel, Business Objects or similar tools, including the integration of data across multiple spreadsheets and databases. Strong proficiency in building charts, graphs and dashboards, and in leveraging new data visualization tools, to effectively convey the story within the data to a broader audience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and a comfort level in working effectively with individual at various organizational levels within the business. Comfort level in working autonomously, sometimes under high-pressured and fast-paced circumstances, and often times with limited information and a fair degree of ambiguity Self-directed high performer with a relentless attention to detail.

Desirable criteria qualifications:

Credit portfolio / credit markets analytics experience a potential plus. Deep familiarity with transactional data and systems a potential plus. Foreign language proficiency a potential plus.
