Credit Product Controller
This top-tier global financial institution is currently recruiting for a VP Credit Product Controller to join their team in Hong Kong.
Main responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of 3-4 controllers covering the Credit and Treasury business.
- Work with an offshore team to understand, produce and explain daily PL activity.
- Ensure the relationship with business and other stakeholders is maintained and all requests are dealt with in a timely and correct manner.
- Responsible for monthly trading ledger closing, including final MTD PL reconciliation, funding analysis, control account checks etc.
- Review and sign off new product requests; understand implications of new business and transactions and their impact on finance as a whole.
- Independent price verification
- Reverse methodology and calculation
- Other ad hoc processes
To be successful in this role you should have solid product knowledge in credit, at least 5 years of experience in investment banks/brokerage house/ public accounting, with experience as a trading assistant, risk, product control/valuation, middle office, accounting or audit. Good working knowledge of excel/VBA is expected and CPA, FRM or CFA qualifications are preferred.
