Credit Product Manager

An experienced Product Manager is required for the development and implementation of Credit Products within Wealth Management for a new branch opening within Europe. This person will need experience of mortgage products and/or credit products.

Duties of Role:

Lead all day to day product management development for Credit Products under the new Branch launch programme. 
Deliver a range of Credit products with particular emphasis on product specifications, product positioning, competitor products, cost containment, revenue and profitability, enhancing the Credit proposition and offering attractive solutions for local clients.
Drive the new product proposal through the Group New Product Risk Assessment process, ensuring the full engagement of all relevant stakeholders
Work with International offices within Private Banking to provide technical product focus and support to the business.
To act as Subject Matter Expert in relation to the new Branch launch project and operating model changes impacting the business, including representation at Working Parties and Project Forums.
Work with Private Bankers to facilitate product sales.
Acting as subject matter expert, provide product training and support to the Frontline, raising awareness and understanding of the proposition and new product launch.
Establish effective working relationships with the bank’s central control functions to ensure Products are delivered in a compliant manner
Gather information regarding relevant competitor products and feed into product development process, to ensure that product initiatives are competitive with market position / brand
Provide input to policies and procedure manuals for each product / service. Responsibility for ensuring relevant policies and procedures are implemented.

Experience Required
Expert knowledge and understanding of the International credit market particularly in the Private Banking industry.
Strong business acumen
Knowledge of relevant International regulatory environment (Mortgage Regulation, Basel 2/3, Consumer Codes)
Strong project management skills with proven success in a cross boarder environment
Strong negotiation skills and ability to maintain effective relationships
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
