Credit Products – Senior Analyst – Middle Office recruitment

Main Function of the job
You will be responsible for producing risk and PL reports for the London credit products business, and provide full trade support for this and the other Credit businesses. You will work closely with Front Office, Finance and the US Documentation and Operations teams on a daily basis and also work with Technology and other Middle Office teams globally on Front Office projects and process improvements.

Responsibilities
• Intra-day Risk and PL reporting, investigation of discrepancies between reported and posted PL numbers.
• Trade and position verification for CDS, fixed income cash, ABS and repo transactions.
• Resolution of trade queries, fails and position breaks.
• Securities transaction reporting to the FSA: Monitoring, exception processing and reporting.
• Project work acting as subject matter expert.
• Co-ordination of TriOptima / Creditex CDS compression cycles.

Requirements
• Strong academic background preferred.
• Strong previous experience in Credit Derivatives and/or Middle Office.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel with VBA experience.
• Analytical with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills, be deadline oriented and be productive under pressure.
• Experience of working with colleagues based in multiple locations globally is preferred.
• Experience of the Calypso derivatives system and Bloomberg TOMS is preferred.
