Major Investment Bank are seeking to hire a specialist with Credit experience , documentation and loan agency transactions experience.
Job Description
Supports Leveraged Finance and Credit Risk Management for all IB originated or participated deals across the syndicated and bilateral loan products.
The team operates within a control focused environment and ensures that Accounting and Risk Policy is followed, Credit exceptions are resolved and loan agreements are reviewed and recorded accurately. The portfolios covered include Financial Institutions and Corporate clients across the Investment and Global Corporate Bank.
Primary responsibilities: Ensure correct internal approvals are obtained prior to relevant documentation being signed. Review, understand and interpret legal loan documentation for operational viability, highlighting all operational risks. Remain up to date with Accounting and Risk policies.
Key Skills: Strong analytical skills, demonstrating sound decision making abilities to identify problems and propose solutions. Ability to identify change and improve daily processes. Good interpersonal skills, interact professionally and confidently with Senior deal team members within the Front Office.
Specific required experience: High degree of numeracy and aptitude for analytical examination of problems; attention to detail being paramount. Demonstrate knowledge of loan agreements and related legal documentation. Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
Loan IQ system application knowledge an advantage.
