Credit & Regulatory Reporting Analyst

The purpose of the role is to analyse transactions and counterparties and form a credit opinion in a timely manner. Additionally the successful candidate will be involved in the development of regulatory processes.

 

Responsibilities:

Analyse transactions.

Ensure that internal processes and reporting systems remain current.

Relationship Management - including liaising with third parties.

Act as authorized credit signature.

Provide the Head of Risk Management and Risk Committee with advice on all credit related matters.

Ensure that all transactions are compliant with policy and procedures.

Production of weekly and monthly credit reports.

Provide guidance on industry, sector and credit-specific developments relating to the banks's principal business areas.

Undertake ad-hoc projects/assignments as required.

 

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of credit experience, (Emphasis on UK residential and commercial property finance, corporate and leveraged transactions and private banking loan products.)

A solid understand of regulatory risk.

Well-developed analytical and stress testing skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Good communication skills.

Self-motivated and self-confident.

Organised and logical thinking.

Ability to deliver against deadlines.

Ability to deal with people at all levels.

Team player with a common sense approach.

Competent PC skills and familiarity with Management Information Systems including ALM, regulatory capital and scenario analysis.
