Main Responsibilities:-
- Product risk management, including credit limit and settlement risk monitoring, limit exception management, risk exposure analysis and reporting, and post-trade risk management processes.
- Counterparty evaluation, including assessing and monitoring the creditworthiness of the firm’s trading counterparties and borrowers (eg. banks, industrials, hedge funds) by completing comprehensive reviews of their financial and business profiles
- Monitor current events and produce qualitative commentaries for regional colleagues and managers on how they impact counterparty/borrower credit quality.
Main Requirements:-
- Degree qualified either in Economics, Accounting or Finance from a recognised University
- 1-3 years of working experience
- Fluency in written and spoken Japanese required due to the need to work with Japanese counterparties
- Highly motivated with strong academic background
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written
- Team player with an ability to work effectively with colleagues in other regional offices
- Flexible, keen learner, ability to learn quickly
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently
- Functional background or relevant experience in finance and accounting preferred
