Credit Research (Middle East), Associate Director recruitment
Our client is investment arm of a well establised financial institution looking for an Associate Director level credit research analyst. This role is responsible for providing credit research support for non-Asian issuers and counterparties.
Responsibilities:
- Vigorous monitoring of credit quality of all non-Asian issuers in portfolios managed internally and by external portfolio managers. Alert Head of Credit Research, CIOs and relevant investment team members of potential credit impairments and recommend sell/hold actions.
- Recommend, manage and monitor credit limits for internally managed non-Asian corporate issuers, consistent with business plans and Group risk appetite and policies.
- Ongoing analysis of financial performance of non-Asian corporate through review of financial statements, public information, company calls, and market intelligence.
- Manage portfolio quality in line with Group credit standards.
- Ensure adherence with all internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of credit experience preferably in a multinational bank/financial organization managing credit exposures of non-Asian corporate, in particular Middle Eastern credits.
- Experience in conclusion led and risk focused credit risk assessment, as well as regulatory framework/documentation requirements.
- Good working knowledge of various debt products (e.g. bonds, CDOs, CLOs, leveraged loans, etc.)
- Good command of both written and oral English is required.
- Degree holder in business, finance or related disciplines. Accounting or CFA qualifications an advantage.
- MUST have Hong Kong work permit.
