Credit Restructuring & Advisory recruitment
The successful candidate will have some experience in restructurings and workouts in either a financial institution, advisory firm or other comparable institution. The Client has a strong interest in seeing candidates who have experience of working in a restructuring role outside of banking roles.
The candidate will be responsible together with a Director for a caseload of counterparties. This will involve, together with the Director, negotiating with all related parties, including taking roles on coordinating committees to achieve maximum recovery for the Bank. This includes reviewing appropriate strategy, obtaining internal approvals and communicating as appropriate with senior management and Risk. The role requires someone who is able to work with external and internal (eg legal, portfolio, counterparty risk, finance) stakeholders .
The role is within the Bank's investment banking credit risk function so the candidate will also have responsibilities commensurate with a credit officer, including writing of credit and committee papers and maintaining appropriate information in credit risk systems.
