Credit Risk Analyst Corporate Clients – China recruitment

Our client is a global bank holding a market leading position amongst the foreign banks operating in China. A fantastic opening has arisen for an experienced and senior credit risk analyst familiar with assessing the credit risk of large corporate clients.

Job profile:
- Conduct annual industry analysis on specific market/industry and produce regular reports to assist the sales team in identifying opportunities and risks.
- Assume accountability for allocated customer credit risk by ensuring quality of due diligence and BCA write-up, and maintaining a continuous dialogue with Relationship Managers, Credit and Product Partners to ensure that they are monitored and controlled.
- Proactively manage the risk of the portfolio assigned.
- Ensure that the approval procedures and standards and the maintenance of commodities credit conform to controls and procedures established by Credit.
- Ensure compliance with Bank’s policy and ensure that Bank’s policy breaches are properly authorised at the correct senior approving level.
- Assist sales force to monitor credit quality, by highlighting early warning signs of credit deterioration and ensuring compliance of established risk triggers.

Qualifications Skills
- In-depth credit appraisal and financial analysis skills; good research abilities
- Good understanding of the economic, political and business environment of PRC
- In-depth knowledge of PRC legal and regulatory requirements
- Strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset to grow business
- Familiarity with bank operational procedures, a thorough knowledge of financial products and services
- Excellent communications, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong people management skills
- Fluency in Chinese English
