Credit Risk Analyst- Corporate Governance Job in New York City 10038, New York US
Our client, a major International Bank with offices in New York City, is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to support the Corporate Governance Division. The ideal candidate must have 2+ years of experience in exposure to risk disciplines in a financial institution, ideally credit risk management.
Major Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving credit risk data and uploading it into the database as well as the maintenance of the data.
- Generate credit risk reports for various management and regulatory needs.
- Assist in the creation of presentations for senior management meetings.
- Research and/or resolve any unusual data quality issues.
- Support the development of new risk reports or delivery methods.
- Additional projects as required.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in exposure to risk disciplines in a financial institution, ideally credit risk management.
- Strong communication skills- both written and verbal.
- Must have excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented and self-starter.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access (VBA and query building).
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree a plus.
- Specialized risk management and database structure knowledge is a plus.
