My client is one of the leading global reinsurers. They offer a wide range
of traditional reinsurance products and related services, which are
complemented by insurance-based corporate finance solutions and
supplementary services.

Job Description
Commodities/Infrastructure Credit Risk Manager to provide risk
assessment, transaction appraisal execution for Corporate
counterparties Globally.
 

Responsibilities:
- Acting as a lead credit officer for a portfolio of Corporate
counterparties in the commodities and/or Infrastructure sectors
- In conjunction with Underwriting the candidate would be accountable
for transaction risks within delegated authority
- Provide support to portfolio level developments and the management
development of control parameters
- Establishing strong working relationships with business partners and
working pro-actively with business partners for a balanced risk and
reward
- Relevant credit analytical expertise will be used to support Credit
aspects of The Group's Insurance, Investment and Capital Markets
activities as necessary
- Candidates would not have managerial responsibility

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Solid academic track record (university degree or higher)
- Solid experience in commodities and/or infrastructure lending is a
prerequisite
- Minimum 4 to 6 years' financial analysis experience, preferably in
Corporate Banking, Credit department of a primary commercial or
investment bank or a credit rating agency
- Alongside strong financial analysis skills, understanding of the credit product
range (including derivative instruments, fixed income securities,
structured finance and reinsurance) and the credit risks

- Flexible approach to work assignments
- Ability to manage diverse projects and tasks simultaneously and the
confidence and initiative to take decisions often with only limited
information and guidance and within tight deadlines
- Fluency in English is essential, other languages would be an advantage.
