Credit Risk Analyst Job in Mt. Laurel 08054, New Jersey US
Sun National Bank is currently seeking a highly professional and goal oriented CREDIT RISK ANALYST in our Mt. Laurel location.
What will you do?
· Partner with the ALLL Analyst to conduct credit risk assessments, forecasts and related analyses. Prepare Board and Investor meeting presentations. Provide support for identifying risk and developing tools and models for testing.
· Under the direction of the ALLL Analyst, serve as a liaison with Managed Assets to ensure the accuracy of specific reserves and charge-off forecasting. Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly reports for Managed Assets.
· Provide support in calculating the loan loss provisions on a per loan basis for inclusion in applicable analyses, reports and presentations.
· In conjunction with the ALLL Analyst, prepare presentations and reports for the Board and Investor meetings.
· Assist with the identification of risk concentrations within the bank’s credit portfolio. Partner with the ALLL Analyst to develop and refine tools and models for measurement of stress testing for credit portfolio management.
· Partner with Loan Workout Officers to gather, monitor, track and reconcile loan loss results against projections.
· Prepare appropriate SEC disclosures based on results and outcomes of analyses.
· Monitor watch list upgrades and downgrades and communicate as necessary and appropriate.
· Serve as the main point of contact and prepare all necessary documents for all internal and external audit requests.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
· 3 – 5 years experience in the field with prior experience in banking environment strongly preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
· Prior experience in an Auditor capacity is helpful and strongly preferred.
· Understanding of general Finance and Accounting regulations and requirements; understanding of banking industry requirements strongly preferred
· Knowledge and understanding of loan loss/risk rating effect on bank’s profitability
· Ability to compile data and effectively articulate processes and sources
· Demonstrated ability to assimilate information to form conclusions and/or recommendations
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to seek out information necessary for analysis
· Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
· Advanced Excel skill and proficiency in PowerPoint
· Strong communication skills with the ability to present information and interpret objectives
