Credit Risk Approver recruitment
Selected candidates would be responsible for:
- Portfolio management in terms of assisting senior credit officers together with business units to manage the loan portfolio and bad debt forecast, including robustness of EAR process, and monitoring compliance with credit policy and business strategy
- Credit Risk Approval / Risk Management by providing guidance to business units on the preparation of quality credit applications, and ensuring no overdue reviews, and approval of credit applications within delegated credit authority
- Credit Risk Approval / Risk Management by understand borrower's strategic priorities, opportunities, risks and requirement through regular customer contact (including factory and site visits) with business units, including monitoring of quality of portfolio with proactive response to various external factors and conduct stress testing and portfolio reviews where appropriate
- Credit Monitoring and Control by reviewing past due and excesses on regular basis to ensure that appropriate and timely actions are undertaken by business units, and identifying possible streamlining to enhance the effectiveness of the credit monitoring and control process
- Undertaking projects from stakeholders as and when required, including support on regulatory reporting and other Governance related aspects within the Team
To be shortlisted for this role, you should:
- Have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree with atleast 8-10 years of banking and relevant work experience
- Have a good understanding of Singapore corporates
- Have experience managing large loan portfolio's including forecasting of bad debts
- Have experience providing guidance to business units on the preparation of quality credit applications
- Have experience with regulatory reporting to ensure compaliance with credit policy and business strategy
