One of our Investment Banking clients is embarking upon an aggressive strategy to increase capabilities in their risk management space due to many regulatory needs. To support regulatory reforms, the growth of technology capabilities and services is critical. They are looking for a senior solutions architect to join the credit risk technology team.
To be successful in this role you must have a mix of strong technology and business acumen. This role requires the ability to design and architect creative solutions to business problems and manage data volume growth in a very fast paced environment. You will be required to provide technical leadership and expertise to geographically dispersed development teams. The architect will closely communicate with senior management and business users.
Skills Required
- 7+ years experience performing the duties of Solution Architect/Tech Lead
- 10+ years working on complex distributed systems/architecture and object-oriented design
- 5+ years working with SOA architecture using Java and/or C++
- Solid knowledge of relational databases preferably in UDB DB2
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in financial services preferably in Market or Credit Risk.
- Excellent insight and ability to comprehend mathematical/economic risk models
- Excellent awareness of various technologies and solutions in the software industry
- BA/BS Degree or an equivalent qualification
