Credit Risk Business Analyst – AVP or VP recruitment
The team are responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of systems and processes that support the Risk Measurement, Limit Monitoring and Excess Reporting of Credit Risk. My client is looking for a candidate that has experience through a project lifecycle and must have some knowledge of credit risk methodologies (economic capital, default models or exposure measurement).
Responsibilities include:
- Defining business requirements and re-engineering (if applicable) business processes.
- Defining and executing Impact Assessments and supporting UAT
- Supporting Senior Management and business users to enhance the Strategic Risk Architecture, Reporting and Workflow.
- Engaging stakeholders across multiple business areas
- The main duty will be to perform business analysis for a number of different work-streams. The work-streams will mostly be concerned with the measurement of credit risk exposure on both Banking and Trading books.
- Take ownership of several stages of the implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and implementation support
- Support Execute UAT as a subject matter expert
- Provide Global User training
- Delegated Line Manager responsibilities including management of their own work-streams, and managing a small number of BA’s and their work
Skills required:
- Knowledge of Banking Trading products and associated business processes.
- Experienced Risk Analysis knowledge with an Investment Bank or Trading Operation.
- Experience working with Credit Risk and Market risk measures, associated data, processes and policies.
- End to End Project life-cycle experience e.g. requirements gathering, design documentation, testing and roll-out.
- Proven ability to take on and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously, working under time pressure and still maintaining high quality.
- Proven ability to deliver timely and high quality project work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify strategic opportunities to improve current practises for the good of the firm.
