CREDIT RISK – BUSINESS ANALYST recruitment
You will report to the Senior Product Manager responsible for delivering Internal Model Method (IMM) programme from Basel Calculation and Reporting Solution implementation perspective. The IMM Programme objective is to migrate the bank from a regulatory prescribed credit risk capital measure onto an advanced measure using the banks own Internal Model Methods.
Key Roles Responsibilities
The job purpose / responsibilities as below:
• Participate in conversations with Internal Model Method (IMM) project team on IMM related requirements from a Product perspective
• Define data and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) requirements required to implement IMM methodology
• Prepare test strategy, test cases to verify IMM related calculations to ensure readiness for the parallel run
• Co-ordinate and perform UAT to check if IMM functionality is working as expected
• Liaise with technology on IMM implementation as well as parallel run requirement (supporting IMM waiver submission)
• Work closely with IMM project team, Risk, Finance and Regulatory reporting teams to ensure smooth implementation of IMM Phase 1 requirements
SKILLS REQUIRED
• 6+ years experience in Financial Services or Consulting industry in Basel II
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or Risk Management major and / or postgraduate qualification or Masters Degree or equivalent would be preferred
• Experience working on Moody’s Fermat credit risk calculation engine (Basel II)
• Experience in all stages of the project lifecycle, e.g. planning, requirements gathering, design documentation, testing and rollout is desired
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidate will be required to communicate clearly and concisely, and depending on the audience (e.g. business users vs. developers), adapt the communication style
• Solid understanding of Banks’ Systems and Processes
