Credit Risk Business Analyst- Trading Book-RWA recruitment
Position Description:
AGS on behalf of RBS represents contract and temporary opportunities for RBS MIB (Marketing and International Banking). We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a Credit Risk Business Analyst to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a Credit Risk Business Analyst you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.
The role is within a team responsible for the business analysis of Credit Risk system enhancements, which includes capital calculation for trading book products.
You will be responsible for liaising with business users globally to define and document clear business requirements / functional specifications / testing strategies and to provide significant input into the design and functionality of Credit Risk systems.
And working with the global development teams and users through the development lifecycle, including testing and Impact analysis of releases on credit and capital.
The right candidate must have the following:
- Good experience within Investment Banking including strong traded-product knowledge.
- Understanding Credit Risk management including methodology, processes and terminology.
- Understanding RWA finance calculations in relation to traded book products including methodology, processes and terminology.
Analysis experience
- Experience in writing business and functional requirements for investment banking systems.
- Testing experience in relation to writing of test strategies and subsequent execution
- Experience in functional specification of real time intra-day processing and EOD batch processing solutions.
- Experience in running structured meetings / workshops to drive out requirements and design.
- Ability to manage small deliveries (from analysis, through design, development, testing and ultimately to delivery).
