We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a Credit Risk Business Analyst to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a Credit Risk Business Analyst, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.
We are currently looking for a Business Analyst in our major IMM Monte Carlo programme, with Wrong Way Risk and good product knowledge in OTC derivatives and High level of understanding of the trade life cycle (trade data attributes, product ageing, trade events)
The role reports into the BA Team Lead for the relevant work-stream who in turn reports into the Programme Manager for PFE Scenario Analysis.
Competencies:
- Risk - generalist Risk BA knowledge
- Good understanding of the main risk factors of OTC derivatives. What are the key risk categories to which OTCD are exposed?
- Counterparty credit risk - slightly more specialised knowledge for a BA in a CCR project
- Different types of risk (exposure risk, default risk, CVA risk; similarities, differences)
- Strong understanding of all the relevant (functional) components of a Monte Carlo risk system
- Ideally knowledge of Monte Carlo in counterparty risk, but knowledge of Market Risk VAR simulation techniques (MC, historical, parametric etc) might also be acceptable
- Specialist knowledge - CRD IV
- Good knowledge of CRD IV regulation and the item impacting Counterparty Credit Risk, particularly Stressed EEPE and Wrong Way Risk.
- Comfortable working with all areas of the business on regulatory matters (e.g. Risk Management, Policy, Compliance, Risk Change, IT) and able to assist reaching consensus across all parties.
- Comfortable using BA tools for investigation of data issues (e.g. SQL, Excel, XML)
