Credit Risk Fund Analyst recruitment

To achieve that, CRM employs a range of qualitative and quantitative analytical skills that support the need to: a) provide independent risk management oversight; b) continuously evaluate, monitor and rate all the Firm’s counterparties; c) evaluate and approve credit exposures subject to established credit authority guidelines and approval procedures; d) provide timely and accurate credit data and analysis to the Firm’s management, Business Units and Regulators.

The role comprises of the following:

• Written analysis of funds, pension funds and fund managers.

• Assignment of internal ratings and credit limits.

• Approval of credit reviews

• Approval of credit limits

• Negotiation of documentation

• Trade approvals

• Working alongside an experienced analyst based in Nomura’s Mumbai office.

• Engaging actively with sales staff.

• Ad hoc project work

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience in a credit risk management role.

• A good working knowledge of European fund regulations

• Familiarity with vanilla derivative products, stock borrow / loan, repo / reverse repo and respective documentation, particularly with respect to various credit related clauses or similiar.

The ability to speak other European languages is an advantage, but not necessarily a requirement for the role.
