Credit Risk Lead Business Analyst
This permanent hire with a tier 1 investment bank will be as a business analyst across the Credit Risk reporting and process workflow programme streams. The candidate would be expected to:
- Take on team management and leadership responsibilities as appropriate.
- Manage their own work-stream and take ownership of several stages of the implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and documentation, to defining and executing UAT and Impact Analysis.
- Participating in and running working groups.
- Provide global user training.

Essential Experience:
- Defining requirements for new reporting tools (e.g. web based, slice and dice tools, business objects)
- Business analysis of reporting processes workflow.
- Business analysis experience with an investment bank, consultancy or comparable trading operation (e.g. Commodity Trading House, Asset Manager, Hedge Fund etc).
- End to end project life-cycle experience e.g. defining requirements, build support, testing, impact assessment and user training.
- Delivery of multiple tasks simultaneously and working under pressure.
- Broad knowledge of banking trading products.
Desirable Experience
- Understanding of risk exposure measurement and what-if calculations.
- Process and operating model design experience using techniques such as Six Sigma.
- Experience working on strategic projects relating to reporting, workflow and business process design.
- Experience of working in credit or market risk control environments.

- Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven problem solving skills with the ability to think independently and under pressure.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
