Credit Risk Management
Provide timely credit decisions within delegated credit authority and ensure credit approvals are within the CS Global and local credit policy standards, and compliant with applicable US regulations.
Portfolio risk management including:
- Partner with the Private Banking Lending group, Solution Partners, and Front Office and provide constructive guidance on opportunity memo's/terms sheets and all credit transaction requests.
- Portfolio reviews - targeted and generalized. Proactive detection of weaknesses - direct and monitor early stage action plans, where relevant.
- Monitor all relevant limits and exposures and document risk associated with any over-advance positions, short-margin, trading Limits, documentation and policy exceptions.
- Representation of Credit Risk Management function and participation in on-going projects and new product development efforts.
- Review and on-going development of policies and procedures to maintain an effective risk control environment.
- Participate in the coordinated efforts to prepare for internal and external audits/regulators.
- Bachelor's degree - Masters degree preferred
- Ten plus years of relevant credit approval and or line-lending experience in a Private Bank setting
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to function decisively and act independently in a multi-tasked and environment
